Ozark Found started the way most things worth doing do — sideways. What began as weekend estate-sale runs and a habit of not being able to leave a good piece of cedar furniture behind turned into something people kept asking to buy. Add in a knack for building things to order and a handful of local makers worth bragging about, and the shop ended up needing a name.
We don't sell things because they're old, and we don't sell things because they're new. We sell things because we'd want them ourselves.
Every piece that comes through — found, built, or sourced from someone else's workshop down the road — gets the same standard: would this hold up, and would we actually want it in our own house. If not, it doesn't make the shelf.
How we source
Resale finds — estate sales, barn cleanouts, and the occasional roadside stop. Everything is cleaned, repaired if it needs it, and priced fair. What you see in the photos is the actual condition — no surprises on arrival.
Custom made — built to order out of the shop. Send your measurements or your wording before you buy, and we'll confirm details before it goes into production.
Local goods — sourced directly from makers within a couple counties of the shop. We take a modest cut and pass the rest back to them.
